Areas with thin skin and close to the bone (ribs, ankle, foot) tend to be more sensitive. If you are worried, say so during the consultation; the session can be split up or interrupted with breaks.

How long does a tattoo take to heal?

According to general recommendations the surface usually heals within 2–3 weeks, while the deeper layers of the skin need longer. It differs from person to person. After the session you will receive specific aftercare instructions.

What are the most common mistakes during healing?

Picking off scabs, too much sun exposure, swimming in a pool or the sea before the tattoo has healed, and using unsuitable perfumed creams.

What if the healing is not going well?

If you notice severe redness, swelling, pus or a fever, see a doctor — such symptoms belong in the hands of a medical professional, not a tattoo artist. Please also let us know so that we are aware of what is going on.

How is the price of a tattoo determined?

The price is based on the time the work takes — that is, on the size, style and level of detail. You will get an indicative estimate right in the booking form, and we confirm the binding price at the consultation.

Is a deposit required?

For larger projects the deposit is agreed individually at the consultation and is deducted from the final price. Nothing is paid through the website — booking a date is non-binding.

How long does a single session take?

It depends on the design — a small piece of lettering is a matter of tens of minutes, while more extensive work can take several hours. You will see a time estimate in the booking form and we will refine it at the consultation. Large projects such as sleeves or cover-ups are split into several sessions.

What should I bring to the session?

Proof of identity (we tattoo clients aged 18 and over), comfortable clothing that allows access to the area being tattooed, a snack and water. Come well fed, rested and without alcohol in your system.
